Synopsis
100 days - 100 questions. One question a day: the possibility of questioning as a space for dignity and humanity.
Being able to ask is perhaps one of the most immediate exercises of freedom—questioning not only through words but as a collective practice of sensibility and resistance.
Just as a child, with their successive “Why?”s, compels us to deconstruct reality, so too may we ask (?) as a sincere invitation to recreate the world and who we are.
Since January 1, 2026, the artist has asked one question a day using cardboard structures collected throughout the year from local commercial spaces, reused solely with the materials at hand.
Every day—one question a day.
This slow-moving process embraces a body that resonates with the questions of the past—questions that have not been exhausted but instead return to us cyclically so that we may offer them (other) answers or simply listen to them as a confirmation of our humanity.
Process
The research arises from two aspirations related to the creative process, to the “means to”—and not to the result:
Wandering: entering into a slow process, built “in delay,” permeable to impermanence, to life, to everyday existence, to the subtle shifts of “becoming-while-doing”
Welcoming the contingent: a process that accepts the total precariousness of life in its daily act of questioning as an exercise of embracing error, imperfection, ambiguity, and chaos. Here, the aim is to create within and through the rough edges of the Now, without polishing or sterilizing the material created

Insights
In an era when we direct our askings to a screen more than we have ever done in our collective history, and when impatience with what is round, indefinable, and ramified is a hallmark of modern efficiency, there is something sacramental about the simple act inquiring about the world.
A questioning that arises from deliberate wandering, from the conciousness of multiplicity, from a meandering reflection on what it means to be human.
More than ever before
an ode to the sensory, the fragile, and to imperfection
is necessary.

Poder perguntar é talvez um dos exercícios mais imediatos de liberdade – questionar não só através da palavra, mas como prática coletiva de sensibilidade e resistência.
Tal como a criança nos seus sucessivos “Porquê?” que obrigam à desconstrução da realidade, também nós podemos perguntar (?), num convite à reformulação sincera do mundo e do que somos.
Desde 1 de janeiro de 2026, a artista fez uma pergunta por dia usando estruturas de cartão recolhidas ao longo do ano em espaços comerciais locais, reutilizadas apenas com recurso aos materiais disponíveis.
Todos os dias – uma pergunta por dia.
Este processo de demora acolhe agora um corpo que ressoa com as interrogações de antes, que não se esgotaram mas que ao invés regressam a nós ciclicamente para lhes darmos (outras) respostas ou simplesmente para as escutarmos numa confirmação da nossa humanidade.

Numa era em que perguntamos ao ecrã mais do que alguma vez o fizemos na nossa história coletiva e em que a impaciência perante o que é redondo, indefinível e ramificado é uma marca da eficiência moderna, há algo de sacramental no simples ato de interrogarmos o mundo. Um interrogar que nasce do devaneio, do múltiplo, de uma vadiagem pelo que significa ser humano.
